Accessibility Evaluations Team Co-Lead
Company DescriptionAccessible Community is a volunteer run non-profit that nurtures disability-inclusive communities by helping small organizations become accessible, people with disabilities find accessible organizations, and emerging experts grow their experience.Role DescriptionThis is a remote volunteer role to serve as a co-team lead for our Evaluations team. The Evaluations team provides audits of organization websites and social media and produces reports on ways they can improve accessibility. The team co-lead will work alongside another lead to help train and support volunteers as they work on these audits. Other responsibilities include outreach and communication with external organizations seeking evaluations, and team planning and support, including a weekly team meeting. Time commitment is 4-6 hours a week.QualificationsStrong Team Leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide and motivate team members effectively.Prior accessibility and accessibility evaluations experience, ideally including training experience.Strong communications and outreach skills to support coordination with external organizations.Ability to work independently in a remote setting and coordinate efforts virtually.
