Program Assistant
The Center for Developmental Disabilities at Cape Cod Village, Orleans, MAPart Time Program AssistantOnsite Program Assistant, 10-15 hours a week; flexible schedule, but must include one morning shift (9:30-2:30) and one afternoon shift (1:30-6:30). Schedule will vary based on programming and events; flexibility required. 10 hour a week responsibilities include:During Program Sessions (Four 10 week sessions a year): Program support, serve as substitute facilitator or facilitator support as needed, open and close center and set up/cleanup programs as needed, general administrative tasks (Update and print forms, update bulletin boards, update contact lists, etc).During Program Breaks (3 weeks between sessions): Work with Program Coordinator and other staff on program evaluation and planning and organizational strategy, inventory, order, and organize supplies, general administrative tasksYear-Round: Event Support including: Promotion and advertising (mailing post cards,distributing flyers, etc), collecting registrations, sending email reminders and follow-up, set up/clean up.Additional 5 hours a week responsibilities (for the right candidate) year-round:Social Media content creationPreparation and distribution of digital and printed marketing materials including newsletter and emails.Design and production of flyers, rack cards, signage and other collateral materialWebsite updatingRequirementsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong computer and technology skills2 or 4 year degree preferred, but not requiredExperience working with adults with autism or developmental disabilities preferred, but not requiredExpertise or training in one of the following areas preferred but not required: visual or creative arts, music, health & wellness.Commitment to the mission and values of the organizationHourly wage dependent on experience.Please submit resume and cover letter to Deirdre Sullivan, dsullivan@capecodvillage.org
