We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for professionals experienced in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, mechanical design review, supply chain planning, quality systems, and structured engineering workflow analysis.This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on structured manufacturing and engineering review, process documentation, quality analysis, supply chain workflow assessment, mechanical documentation, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will apply their engineering expertise to review realistic technical scenarios, evaluate process and documentation requirements, prepare structured written outputs, and support accurate, evidence-based engineering workflow tasks.Key Responsibilities Professionals in this role may contribute to:Review engineering scenarios involving process flow documents, SOPs, yield analysis, quality metrics, root cause analysis, Lean/Six Sigma documentation, and process improvement workflowsEvaluate process and manufacturing outputs against source materials, defined criteria, quality requirements, and expected technical outcomesSupport structured review of FMEA materials, CAPA documentation, non-conformance reports, audit preparation materials, and inspection protocolsIdentify missing steps, documentation gaps, quality issues, control points, and expected engineering review outcomesMechanical, CAD & Product DocumentationReview mechanical and industrial engineering scenarios involving CAD models, 2D drawings, GD&T, BOM maintenance, tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA reviews, and ECO workflowsEvaluate engineering drawings and product documentation against specified dimensions, manufacturing requirements, revision controls, and documented standardsSupport structured review of CAD-related workflows, design packages, BOM structures, ECO documentation, and technical drawingsPrepare clear written explanations for engineering decisions based on source materials and verifiable technical criteriaSupply Chain, Planning & Execution SupportReview supply chain scenarios involving demand forecasting, inventory analysis, supplier scorecards, S&OP materials, logistics exceptions, and planning workflowsEvaluate planning and execution materials against historical data, service requirements, supplier metrics, operational constraints, and documented targetsSupport structured review of supply chain artifacts, planning workbooks, logistics documentation, supplier performance materials, and S&OP outputsMaintain accuracy, consistency, and professional judgment across submitted workIdeal Profile3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical design, supply chain planning, quality engineering, product development, or related technical rolesWorking fluency in at least two areas such as CAD, GD&T, manufacturing processes, Lean/Six Sigma, S&OP, quality systems, FMEA, CAPA, or inspection protocolsFamiliarity with tools and systems such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Creo, NX, CATIA, AutoCAD, Arena, Teamcenter, Windchill, SAP, Oracle, or similar engineering and planning platformsComfort reading and preparing engineering artifacts such as drawings, BOMs, process flows, SOPs, FMEAs, CAPAs, inspection protocols, supplier scorecards, and planning documentationStrong written communication skills and ability to explain engineering decisions clearlyAbility to follow structured instructions and produce evidence-based workEducational BackgroundBachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, quality engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical field is helpfulEquivalent practical experience in manufacturing, engineering workflows, supply chain planning, quality systems, or technical documentation review is also highly relevantNice to HaveExperience with machining, injection molding, sheet metal, additive manufacturing, assembly processes, supplier quality, production transfer, or new product introduction workflowsFamiliarity with Lean, Six Sigma, GD&T, FMEA, CAPA, ISO, FDA, DFM/DFA, S&OP, inventory analysis, or logistics exception handlingExperience preparing or reviewing CAD drawings, BOMs, ECOs, SOPs, process maps, inspection protocols, supplier scorecards, or quality recordsEngineering, quality, supply chain, Lean Six Sigma, or manufacturing certifications are helpfulStrong attention to detail in technical documentation-heavy and process-oriented environmentsWhy This OpportunityApply manufacturing and engineering expertise to structured remote project workContribute to high-quality process review, quality documentation, mechanical analysis, and supply chain workflow assessmentWork on flexible, project-based assignments aligned with your professional backgroundUse your engineering judgment in a focused, detail-oriented technical environmentRemote structure with competitive hourly compensationContract DetailsIndependent contractor roleFully remote with flexible schedulingPart-time commitment depending on project availabilityCompetitive rates between $75–$120 per hour depending on expertiseWeekly payments via Stripe or WiseProjects may be extended, shortened, or adjusted depending on scope and performanceWork will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution#J-18808-Ljbffr
