Medical AssistantWe are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our busy OB/GYN practice serving patients in St. Petersburg and Largo, Florida. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, maintain a professional appearance, and demonstrate a positive and energetic attitude while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced women's health environment.ResponsibilitiesRoom patients, prepare them for examinations and procedures, and assist providers during visitsObtain and document vital signs, perform blood draws, collect specimens, and administer injectionsAssist OB/GYN providers during examinations and in-office proceduresMaintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic health record (EHR) systemProvide compassionate, professional, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced office environmentCommunicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff while supporting smooth clinic flowMaintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms while following HIPAA and safety protocolsAssist with front office and other clinical duties as needed
