Solutions Architect

Responsibilities:
Develop Solutions in .NET: Build and implement solutions using Microsoft .NET that align with the organization's business needs.
Requirement Gathering & Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders such as the Data Architect and Business Analysts to create detailed requirements, solution proposals, and designs (BPD and BSD).
Business Needs Alignment: Work closely with Finance & Accounting staff to ensure that software designs and implementations meet business objectives.
Functional Testing & Support: Conduct functional tests on applications and provide initial post-implementation support when the software is moved into production.
Documentation: Create and deliver necessary documentation to ensure users understand newly implemented processes.
Business Process Improvement: Identify and recommend changes to enhance business processes.
Project Coordination: Assist in status reporting, tracking milestones, coordinating activities, and deliverables across team members.
Transition & Support: Effectively plan, execute, and manage the transition of newly implemented functionality to the appropriate teams, providing support after implementation.
Skills and Experience:
Microsoft .NET Development: Minimum 5 years of experience in .NET development, with the ability to work on enterprise-level applications.
Business Requirement Gathering: Strong ability to work closely with business teams to gather functional requirements and convert them into technical designs and solutions.
Project Management & Coordination: Assist the Program Manager with status tracking, milestone management, and coordination of team activities.
Enterprise Systems: Experience with enterprise applications and familiarity with transitioning complex solutions.
Post-Implementation Support: Provide support for implemented applications and troubleshoot any issues after deployment.
Microsoft Access Applications (Preferred): Previous exposure to Microsoft Access applications is a bonus.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree: In a relevant field such as Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Soft Skills:
Organizational & Project Management Skills: Proven ability to facilitate meetings, manage projects, and articulate technical solutions.
Strong Communication: Both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate business needs effectively to technical teams.
Technical Proficiency:
Microsoft 365 Tools: Proficient with Microsoft 365, Visio, Access, and MS Project for documentation and project tracking.
