DescriptionPosition Description:The Staff Chiropractor is a clinical position which is responsible for the treatment and management of personal injury, other third party and wellness patientsPosition DutiesThe position requires the following primary duties to be successful:Performs all clinical duties as it relates to the care of patients at AICA OrthopedicsCo-supervises and mentors all medical assistants and support staff for the chiropractic program including clinical and administrative functionCo-manages relationships and communication among local chiropractic department and team membersEffectively communicates clinical and non-clinical information as it pertains to the patients with other staff chiropractors, clinic directors, chiropractic administrators, orthopedic and medical managers, and/or ELT as deemed necessaryPosition ExpectationsCo-manage daily operations for chiropractic services of their local office to ensure execution of the company’s mission and goalsExhibit exceptional knowledge of all components of personal injury and/or third-party liability services linesEffectively treat, document, and manage all aspects of a patients care and personal injury caseWillingness and ability to travel to other AICA locations to perform the same or similar chiropractic duties Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnow your metrics and Key Performance IndicatorsEnsure facility is clean, safe, and inviting and appropriately staffed and outfitted with the help of MA trainer/managerBe organized and efficientBe passionate and professionalBe smart, work smartLead by exampleHave a positive attitudeBe a positive agent for change to enhance the improvements to the chiropractic program’s performance and productivityRequirementsEducationDoctor of Chiropractic degree from and accredited program with certification for therapeutic modalities AND:ExperienceNo previous experience requiredPreferredAbility to effectively multi-task under time pressure. Strong communication and leadership skillsBe team oriented and able to work with various managers, staff, and providersBe able to make sound decisions while on the move in a fast-paced environmentAbility to interact, engage and communicate effectively with team members, licensed medical providers, patients, and executive management when necessaryPhysical DemandsFrequent sitting, standing, bending, stooping and walkingOccasional lifting up to 20-40 poundsOccasional periods of uninterrupted standingPer diem independent contractor position
