Facilities Associate

A well-established organization operating within the transportation and logistics infrastructure sector is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to support the maintenance and operations of multiple commercial and operational properties.This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining building systems, supporting facility operations, and coordinating repair and maintenance activities. The position works closely with facilities leadership to ensure properties remain safe, functional, and well maintained.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport day-to-day maintenance of buildings, grounds, and facility infrastructureInspect building systems and perform basic troubleshooting and repairsCoordinate maintenance work and monitor facility conditionsManage and document maintenance requests and completed work ordersAssist with oversight of outside vendors and service providersEnsure adherence to safety policies and operational guidelinesProvide general operational support for facility-related needsQualifications1.5 + years of experience in facility maintenance, mechanical maintenance, or building operationsExperience in industrial, commercial, or operational environments preferredAbility to work in a physically active role, including lifting, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walkingFamiliarity with material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plusComfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditionsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently while collaborating with a broader operations teamAdditional DetailsOccasional travel may be requiredCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits package
