Emergency Medicine Physician

The ED which serves more than 45,000 patient visits annually, in a service area of over 350,000, has 28 private beds, 4-bed Fast Track, a 6-bed certified Chest Pain Center, and a certified Stroke Program. Although not a designated Trauma Center, the ED sees approximately 18 % trauma injuries and has 2 fully-equipped trauma rooms. All specialties are available to the ED except burn, in-patient psychiatry, and transplant. This hospital has a well-established 9-member Hospitalist Department which is a valuable and trusted resource of the ED. There is excellent ancillary and mid-level provider support staff. The ED is on the PACS system and the Radiology Dept. provides 24/7 service to the ED.
