Farmstead Living Caregiver PositionFarmstead Living is seeking a dependable, compassionate PM Med Aid/Caregiver to join our care team. In this role, you will assist residents with daily care needs and safely administer medications. Available Shift: PT or FT 3:00pm-11:30pm, EOW and holiday rotationJob Description:Accurately administer prescribed and PRN medications according to the MARReview and follow care plan for each residentFollow the "Five Rights" of medication administrationDocument all medications given, refused, or withheldReport medication errors or discrepancies immediately to nursing leadershipMaintain proper storage and security of medicationsDocuments and counts narcotics at the beginning and end of shiftResponds to call lights in a timely mannerAssist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility supportQualifications:Trained Medication Aide or other medication certifications is preferred.Experience with medication administration will be extremely helpful.Organized individual with attention to detail.Careful, methodical, and efficient.Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations.
