Job Title: General Production WorkerJob DescriptionA Production Operator I works as part of a team to produce quality electronic equipment within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The Production Operator I flexes easily between tasks, and seeks to be proficient at all tasks within their assigned functional area. Responsibilities: Fabricates or assembles electronic equipment according to written work instructions Adapts to multiple work areas daily based on established patterns Delivers materials to point of consumption in response to Kanban signals Accurately performs inventory transactions Actively participates in daily Tier 1 daily management system (DMS) meetings Contributes to continuous improvement projects Keeps work area well organized and clean Additional duties as assigned by SupervisorHard SkillsManufacturing experience (preferred)Small parts familiarityAble to read/interpret EnglishComputer proficiencySoft SkillsFlexibilityTeamworkAttention to detailJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Tigard, Oregon.Work EnvironmentState of the art electronics manufacturing environment. Brand new facility with new work stations. The facility is setup like a football field. Starting in one end-zone with raw materials, followed by the SMT & AOI machines, followed by the assembly/hand add area, and ending in the packaging/shipping department.
