Python API Engineer

Must-Have Technical Skills5+ years of experience in Python application development.Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs using Python and AWS Lambda.Strong experience with Amazon Aurora and Amazon DynamoDB.Experience managing database schema versioning and migrations using Liquibase.Knowledge of AWS services, serverless architecture, and cloud-native application development.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and source control (Git).Strong understanding of API security, performance optimization, and monitoring.Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance REST APIs using Python and AWS Lambda in a serverless architecture.Develop and integrate applications with Amazon Aurora and DynamoDB, ensuring high availability, scalability, and data integrity.Create, maintain, and deploy database schema changes and migrations using Liquibase.Build, test, and deploy cloud-native applications following AWS architectural best practices and secure coding standards.Implement automated unit testing, logging, monitoring, and performance tuning to ensure application reliability.Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions through Agile methodologies.Support CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize application and database performance.Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, architecture planning, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
