BUILDING AUTOMATION PROJECT MANAGERLocation: Salt Lake City, UTReports to: Operations Manager/Controls DirectorCompensation: $90K - $115K (DOE)We are a leading provider of building automation and controls solutions, supporting commercial and industrial facilities through design, installation, and project execution. We foster a collaborative environment where employees take ownership of projects and contribute to continuous improvement across all phases of delivery.Your Role:As a Building Automation Project Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of controls projects from planning through execution and closeout. This role is responsible for managing schedules, budgets, resources, and client relationships to ensure successful project delivery. You will act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders while ensuring projects are completedsafely, on time, and within scope.What You’ll Do:• Lead controls projects from kickoff through closeout• Manage schedules, milestones, and overall project execution• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients• Interpret plans, specifications, and contract requirements• Monitor progress, identify risks, and drive solutions• Provide technical support for design, installation, and commissioning• Deliver project updates, reports, and documentation• Oversee budgets, forecasting, cost tracking, and profitability• Manage change orders and scope adjustments• Ensure quality standards and successful project delivery• Maintain strong client relationships and resolve issues• Support project closeout, training, and final documentation• Promote and enforce job site safety standardsWhat You’ll Bring:• 5+ years of project management experience within building automation, controls, orconstruction environments• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred• Strong understanding of building systems, controls, and construction processes• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and contract requirements• Financial acumen with the ability to track costs and drive project profitability• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills• Experience working with clients, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams
