HVAC Material Handler

We are currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Material Handler in our Elmhurst location. If you have experience working with HVAC materials a forklift and or prior RF Gun in a warehouse environment this is the position for you! As a Material Handler, you will: Work in warehouses and production facilities to move products. This may include finding materials on the shelves and wrapping them and putting them on a delivery truck, or pulling materials off the truck and putting them in the proper shelf spot. Job Description Receive shipments using a warehouse management tool Put away/locate all items received Verify correct items and quantities on all receipts Inspect all items for damage prior to signing and accepting items Pick and ship all outgoing shipments including UPS, LTL, Truckload, Local Carrier and Messenger Services Perform counts of inventory Load/Unload using forklift both box and flatbeds Use appropriate fork extenders as required for larger units Inform Warehouse Manager of all discrepancies, damage, etc. Maintain warehouse organization and appearance All other duties as assigned A successful Material Handler will possess the following: Prior forklift experience a plus Prior Radio Frequency (RF) Gun experience HVAC knowledge (previous field experience preferred) Affiliated Service is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, status as a qualified individual with a disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.
