Skilled Performance Group is seeking a Controller.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Manage all accounting operations, including accounts, ledgers, and financial reporting systems, ensuring full compliance with GAAP standards and all applicable regulatory requirements.
Prepare accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial reports for company executives.
Coordinate with external accounting firms to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of company filings, as well as the proper remittance of state and federal tax payments.
Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies and procedures covering all transaction cycles.
Design and uphold a robust system of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of financial reporting.
Partner with department leaders to provide accounting support for quarterly forecasts and annual budget preparation.
Oversee all accounting transaction cycles, including treasury functions for cash management and bank accounts.
Supervise, mentor, and lead accounting staff to ensure efficient and effective completion of critical accounting functions.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Skills & Knowledge
Software: Proficiency with QuickBooks required; QuickBooks Enterprise experience preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting (B.S., B.A., or M.S./M.Acc.).
Certification: CPA preferred; public accounting experience strongly desired.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience within service-oriented organizations.
Leadership: Prior experience managing accounting staff preferred.
Technical Skills: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Other Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
