Security Technical Lead

Role OverviewWe are looking for a Security Technical Lead to lead engineers building and evolving a scalable modular security platform for cloud applications. The role combines technical leadership, security engineering, cloud, platform development, and DevSecOps.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of software engineers.Own architecture, design, and delivery of security platform capabilities.Integrate security services such as IAM, RBAC, WAF, SIEM, secrets management, SAST/DAST, and compliance controls.Drive cloud security and shift-left/DevSecOps practices.Develop reusable security services through APIs, SDKs, CLIs, and developer portals.Partner with Security, DevOps, Infrastructure, Product, and Engineering teams.Drive automation, observability, modernization, and AI-enabled security capabilities.Monitor platform performance, reliability, availability, and adoption.Must-Have Skills8+ years software engineering experience with 3+ years in technical/engineering leadership.Security platform engineering experience.Strong experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.Backend development using Java, Go, Python, or Node.js.Strong SecOps/security engineering knowledge.Experience with IAM, RBAC, WAF, SIEM, secrets/key management, and security scanning.CI/CD / DevSecOps experience with GitHub Actions, Harness, or similar.Experience developing APIs, SDKs, or CLIs.Experience with distributed systems and Agile methodologies.Exposure to AI in security or developer experience is preferred.
