Coordinator, Visual Operations
About the roleThe Visual Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day flow, organization, and maintenance of samples for Talbots and Haven Well Within. This hands-on role is responsible for processing, organizing, tagging, transporting, and preparing samples. The Coordinator partners closely with the manager and cross-functional teams to ensure samples are accurate, available, properly labeled, and efficiently moved through each stage of the process. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to support a fast-paced, physical sample environment.The impact you can haveResponsible for processing several rolling racks of samples including shoes and accessories. Examining each sample to see that no samples have not been altered or labeled “Sample not for resale”. Removing any vendor or Sample Tracker tags off garments. Ultimately ensuring the sample are clear to go to our Sample Boutique.Assist manager with replenishing Boutique with new samples. Transporting rolling racks to boutique and removing full hanger boxes back to dock. Lifting full boxes of hangers onto palettes.Lifting sample boxes that have been deemed recyclable and transporting to dock to fill palettes, inventorying, then shrink-wrapping palette.Break down rolling racks, stacking them and shrink wrapping them for later use as well as assembling boxes.Occasionally assist manager in Sample Room with tagging new sample receipts on high receipt days, .Box up samples for coat drive and transport boxes to dock for future donations.Monitor hanger supply in Sample Room and replenishing as needed.Receive, unpack, and organize quarterly spectrum samples, log incoming samples with the Haven Sourcing team.Organize, label, and prepare sample racks as needed.Manage incoming photoshoot trunks from studio stills, model, and location shoots; unpack, organize, and communicate team needs.Provide back-up to Talbots Merchant Coordinator team when necessary.You’ll bring to the role Retail experience preferredSystems and computer literacy-Proficient in Microsoft ExcelStrong organizational skills and time management; detail oriented, deadline driven and able to work independently at timesCreative problem-solving skillsCommunication Skills; written and verbal communication skillsEnjoys collaborating within team dynamic and fast paced environmentInterest and passion in fashion, merchandising, and operationsMust be able to push, pull and lift up to 40 lbs. on a frequent to occasional basis.Must be able to be on your feet all or most of the day, standing and/or walking.BenefitsYou will be eligible to receive a merchandise discount at select KnitWell Group brands, subject to each brand’s discount policies.Support for your individual development plus opportunities for career mobility within our family of brands.A culture of giving back – local volunteer opportunities, annual donation and volunteer match to eligible nonprofit organizations, and philanthropic activities to support our communities. *Medical, dental, vision insurance & 401(K)*Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Time off – paid time off & holidays*The target salary range for this role is: $20.00 – $22.00 hourlyOn-site: This position works on-site at least 4 days per week consistent with the needs of the business at our Talbots office location in Hingham, MA.*Any job offer will consider factors such your qualifications, relevant experience, and skills.
