Specializing in stratospheric platforms, radar systems, protective wear, and deployment operations, our team is continuously innovating at the edge of space and beyond.Essential FunctionsAnalyze surface weather and stratospheric wind predictions and distribute reports.Coordinate with FAA Understand FAA Regulation Part 101 for Unmanned Free Balloons Monitor platform health, analyze data, and troubleshoot problems.Provide support for engineering tests.Complete summer end internship presentation.Demonstrated the guiding principles of Aerostar.May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.Education And ExperienceCollege student or recent graduate in a STEM field.Prior aviation and/or military experience preferred.Travel may be required, potentially up to 40% of the time.Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously Ability to work with high level of confidentiality.Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office.Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.Physical Requirements And Working ConditionsPhysical Requirements: Required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach.
