Job Code : RCI-TRV-5947Job Title: System Administrator (Windows Cloud)Location: Hartford, CT, US 06183Duration: 12 Month extension possible based on needs and performanceMinimum Salary: $31.00 Per HourlyMaximum Salary: $36.00 Per HourlyTemp-to-PermThis role will be onsite in Hartford, CTHybride SchduleThis is a Technology Engineer / BI Platform Support Engineer role focused on supporting and maintaining Business Intelligence (BI) platforms and related infrastructure.The person is NOT mainly building dashboards.This role is more about:supporting infrastructure,handling integrations,troubleshooting platform issues,managing users/security,and supporting enterprise analytics environments.It's basically a mix of:Systems AdministrationPlatform EngineeringInfrastructure SupportCloud/Windows AdministrationSummary:Client is seeking an experienced Technology Engineer to support Business Intelligence software and infrastructure.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Systems Administration / Platform Engineering.The technology you will be working with in this role focuses on Business Intelligence software, infrastructure, and supporting software and technologies that allow us to operate and maintain our systems.Technical duties:Support and maintain Business Intelligence platforms both on-prem and in the Cloud.Includes infrastructure planning and scaling including Cloud platforms, systems maintenance, business customer support, security configuration and management, user management, systems integration, and troubleshooting / problem resolution.Provide off-hours support as required.Other duties as assigned.Job Specific CompetenciesKnowledge of Business Intelligence systems and technologies, with focus on platform implementation, maintenance, and support.In depth knowledge of technology infrastructure including Cloud services, platform design, and systems integration.In depth knowledge of Windows based operating systems.In depth knowledge of software installation, configuration, and maintenance practices.Experience with supporting enterprise level platforms, platform integrations, capacity planning, security, monitoring and alerting.Experience in setup, configuration, and management of common security concepts for integration with LDAP/AD at an Enterprise level.Familiar with automation tools like Puppet, Autosys, and scripting languages like Python.
