One of the world's most iconic entertainment and experiences companies is searching for a Lead Software Engineer to join their Technology & Digital organization on a hybrid basis in Glendale, CA. In this role, you will serve as a visionary technical leader driving the development of scalable, AI-powered platforms that support licensing financial operations and predictive analytics. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape next-generation systems at the intersection of financial technology, machine learning, and enterprise software, all within a globally recognized brand. The team is looking for strong, senior AI engineer that can build LLMs to improve business efficiency and directly impact the bottom line, rather than just using AI to automate code reviews, documentation, etc. This exciting opportunity to lead cutting-edge AI and financial systems development begins as a W2 contract through the end of this year, with a hybrid schedule requiring 4 days onsite per week in Glendale, CA. This role sits within a highly collaborative tech organization and offers competitive benefits as well as a strong potential for extension.What You'll DoLead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of software solutions supporting licensing financial systems and AI-driven applicationsBuild and implement LLM-powered solutions that drive real business outcomes by improving operational efficiency through automation or directly contributing to revenue growth through new or existing channelsArchitect scalable, cloud-native services that integrate seamlessly with internal and third-party financial platformsPartner cross-functionally with product, finance, and data science teams to define system requirements and deliver intelligent automation solutionsLeverage machine learning and AI (including LLMs) to optimize licensing workflows, financial forecasting, and compliance monitoringOwn the full software development lifecycle from analysis and design through coding, testing, debugging, and documentationMentor and guide junior engineers while championing a culture of innovation, inclusion, and technical excellenceMonitor emerging trends in AI, cloud development, and financial systems to inform architecture and strategic directionSkills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field required; Master's degree in a technology discipline is a plus7+ years of software engineering experience, including demonstrated leadership on complex, large-scale projectsHands-on experience building and deploying LLM-powered solutions that solve real business problems.
