Senior Floral Designer

Senior Floral Designer Artisan Bloom is seeking an experienced Senior Floral Designer to support the execution of luxury weddings and events. This is a seasonal, project-based independent contractor (1099) role focused on floral design execution and teamwork. This position does report to the build manager on shift and the Operations Manager. This position does not include management or leadership responsibilities. This role is execution-focused and works under established creative direction. Responsibilities Execute high-end floral arrangements and design components based on approved designs Assist with large-scale event installations and strikes Process, condition, and care for flowers and botanicals Work efficiently during long production and installation days Maintain clean workspaces and proper care of tools and inventory Collaborate professionally with the other Floral Designers, Event Production & Operations Team, and professional vendors onsite Qualifications 5+ years of professional floral design experience (luxury weddings/events preferred) Strong design eye for color, texture, scale, and mechanics Solid horticultural knowledge and flower-handling skills Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality Team-oriented, reliable, and detail-focused Physically able to lift, stand for long periods, use ladders, and work with sharp tools Schedule Seasonal, freelance (1099) Hours vary by event schedule Early mornings, evenings, and weekends required during peak season Long days (10+ hours) common No guaranteed hours No-shows or rejecting a confirmed shift within one (1) week of the scheduled date is unacceptable and may result in removal from the team Why Work With Artisan Bloom Be part of a highly respected luxury floral and event brand Work on elevated, large-scale events Collaborative, professional team environment Opportunities for growth and continued seasonal work Contractor Status: This role is classified as an independent contractor (1099).
