Martin City Tavern is seeking enthusiastic, attentive, and service-oriented individuals to join our front-of-house team. As a server, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience by providing prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service in a fast-paced, casual brewery environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival.
Guide guests through the menu, offering personalized recommendations and addressing their questions about food, beer, and cocktails.
Accurately take and enter orders into the POS system.
Deliver food and beverages efficiently and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal.
Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs, including refills and additional orders.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and dining areas.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
Process payments and thank guests for their visit.
Previous serving experience preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of craft beer and food pairings is a plus.
