Per-Diem - all shifts and days available!General DescriptionThe Crisis Intervention Specialist (CIS) is responsible for providing crisis intervention and de-escalation, monitoring of the safety and security of the facility, and coordinating response to urgent and emergency situations. The CIS provides a therapeutic, calming, recovery-based, and pro-active presence in program.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required. BA degree preferred.A minimum of 2 years of direct care or similar role in a behavioral health and/or medical setting requiredKnowledge of trauma-informed care and de-escalation skills requiredCPR and First Aid Certified, or obtain CPR and First Aid certification within first 3 months of employmentValid driver's license with reliable transportation and appropriately insured vehicle requiredBilingual preferred
