Legal Receptionist

About Us:Andrews & Higgins is a leader in pharmaceutical, medical device, dietary supplement, and sexual abuse litigation prosecuting lawsuits in State and Federal District Courts. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Receptionist with excellent client service skills to join our team! We are looking to fill this role immediately.Duties & Responsibilities:Act as first point of contact for the firm by greeting and checking in clients at the front deskAnswer and route all incoming calls, provide detailed case updates and forward messages to the corresponding legal teamsReview, sort, scan and distribute incoming & outgoing mailOrganize and maintain a large volume of e-documents and case recordsCollaborate on time sensitive legal research projects and report status updates in weekly team meetingsDraft, proofread, and format pleadings & other legal documentsFollow up with clients and assist in case building outreachOversee organization and cleanliness of communal office and meeting spacesRequired Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong work ethic and high-level attention to detailAbility to work in fast-paced environment with rolling deadlinesStrong organizational, analytical and proactive problem solving skillsExcellent interpersonal and client service skillsAbility to multi-task, prioritize and manage multiple workloadsMust be a team player and able to assist in special projects as neededWillingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processesMust be able to adhere to all internal firm policies and proceduresRequired Qualifications:BA/BS degreeMicrosoft Office Suite: 4 years (emphasis on Outlook, Word and Excel)Adobe Acrobat: 2 YearsAbility to work Monday - Friday (business hours of 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM)Flexibility to work overtime as neededWe provide our employees with great benefits that feature employer paid medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, LTD insurance, 12 observed firm holidays, paid time off, paid sick leave, 401(k) retirement plan contribution and annual performance-based bonus.
