If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for hospitality, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills and grow within a lively team dedicated to excellence. *Responsibilities* * Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience * Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery * Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and sales * Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness * Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, including handling cash handling procedures and sales transaction processing * Maintain knowledge of menu items, including food preparation details, wine pairings, and beverage options like cocktails and spirits * Ensure food safety standards are met through proper food handling, sanitation practices, and adherence to health regulations * Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly to accommodate new guests * Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally * Support host/hostess duties when needed by managing reservations via OpenTable or similar systems *Qualifications* * Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments; fine dining experience is a plus * Proficiency with POS systems * Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally * Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours * Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing bills confidently * Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry * Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced setting * Flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
