American Traveler is seeking a travel Electrophysiology Technician for a travel job in Toledo, Ohio.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Electrophysiology TechnicianDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: 04/13/2026Duration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelAssignment OverviewShift: Days, 4.5x8hrsHours: 36 hrs/wkStart Date: Apr 13, 2026Length: 13 weeksOpenings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience and ARRT certification for a cardiac cath lab position with call rotation requirements.DetailsHospital-based cardiac cath lab settingPatient population spans adolescent through geriatricStructured heart and endovascular cases are part of the mixShifts are 9, 10, or 12 hours with start times ranging from 7:00 AM or 7:30 AM and end times ranging to 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM, or 7:30 PM36 or 40 hours per week depending on shift configurationCall rotation of approximately 14 days per 6-week schedule, including 2 weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)May be required to float to sister facilities as neededPhilips and McKesson EMR/technology experience preferredRequirementsMinimum of 2 years of cath lab experience requiredARRT certification requiredCurrent BLS required; ACLS preferredLicense required if applicableMinimum education: Vocational/Technical Degree in RCIS, Radiology Technology, and/or an accredited Electrophysiology program; Bachelor's degree preferredMust have strong analytical abilities to monitor patient condition, interpret ECG rhythms, and make quick, accurate clinical decisionsMust be able to calculate and administer drug dosages appropriatelyMust be able to lift and position patients as neededAbility to work flexible schedules and participate in on-call rotationProof of address and 1 supervisory reference required for considerationFull SSN and DOB (MM/DD) required for considerationCopy of certifications required for considerationAdditional InformationAssists with cardiac electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures, including equipment calibration, procedure setup, patient preparation, device operation, monitoring and recording, and diagnostic data collectionMaintains a radiologically and electronically safe lab environment, including proper use of PPE such as lead aprons and thyroid shieldsOperates and maintains complex electrical equipment and recording devices in both the cath lab and OR environmentsManages lab supplies using FIFO inventory practices and supports accurate procedure billingPass/fail EKG test administered on the first day with two attempts allowed; study guides will be providedStructured heart and endovascular experience is a plusLocal candidates are accepted; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay ratesAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-680011.
