The ideal candidates will ensure accurate and timely billing processes, support reconciliation and collections activities, and contribute to process improvements within a growing finance function. This role requires strong accounting fundamentals, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with clients and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end client billing processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contractual agreementsPerform billing reconciliation and funding settlements, resolving discrepancies in coordination with internal and external stakeholdersSupport accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, cash application, and collections follow-upPartner with clients and internal teams to resolve billing issues and disputes professionally and efficientlyAssist in developing and implementing new processes and workflows in support of an evolving finance functionMaintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP and company policiesPrepare and analyze account reconciliations, identify variances, and recommend corrective actionsContribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of accounting operationsCollaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and client-facing teams to ensure data integrity and alignmentAssist with audit support by providing required documentation and explanationsRequired Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3-5+ years of relevant accounting experience (billing, accounts receivable, or financial operations preferred)Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principlesExperience in insurance, billing operations, or accounting environmentsProven ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues efficientlyExperience supporting process development or continuous improvement initiatives in evolving environmentsProficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsStrong attention to detail, organization, and accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and internal collaborationAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced settingStrong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindsetFamiliarity with banking, treasury, or cash management functions is a plus Preferred QualificationsExperience in insurance or financial services accounting environmentsExposure to billing system implementations or workflow optimizationExperience working in high-growth or evolving finance operations teamsPrior involvement in audit support or compliance reporting activitiesExperience w/ Healthcare TPA and/or client level reconciliations/settlements.This is a Non-traditional accounting role.
