Professional Learning Specialist (Embedded – K-8 Math)Location: Madison, Wisconsin (Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite at District Schools, 1 Day Remote)OverviewA leading education organization is seeking a Professional Learning Specialist to serve as an embedded partner supporting K-8 math instruction within a local school district. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who is passionate about improving student outcomes through high-quality professional learning, instructional coaching, and strong collaboration with district leaders, administrators, and teachers.In this highly impactful, relationship-driven role, you will support the successful implementation and sustained use of instructional programs by working directly alongside educators in their day-to-day environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging, high-impact professional learning sessions for educators and administrators, both in-person and virtually Serve as an embedded strategic partner within assigned school sites, supporting ongoing instructional improvement Develop and execute professional learning plans aligned with district goals and instructional priorities Model instructional best practices, including co-teaching, demonstration lessons, and coaching support Participate in school and district meetings, including professional learning communities and leadership discussions Customize training content and materials to meet the needs of diverse educators and learning environments Manage training logistics, session preparation, and follow-up, including documentation and next-step recommendations Maintain accurate records of training activities, feedback, and outcomes Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams to ensure a cohesive client experience Manage multiple priorities and projects while supporting consistent service delivery Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a collaborative learning community QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Education or related field required; Master’s degree preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in education, blended learning, or online learning environments K-8 teaching experience required, with strong preference for math instruction and coaching experience Experience with core math curriculum and problem-based learning approaches strongly preferred Current or prior teaching certification required Proven experience delivering professional development, instructional coaching, or consulting Strong understanding of instructional best practices and curriculum implementation Excellent presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills Strong organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, client-facing environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Zoom, Teams, and related tools What We’re Looking ForA hands-on instructional leader who thrives in classroom and school-based environments A relationship-builder who partners effectively with teachers, coaches, and administrators A dynamic facilitator who can engage and inspire adult learners A self-starter who can manage priorities independently while staying aligned with broader goals A professional committed to continuous improvement and educational impact Additional DetailsOnsite presence required 4 days per week at district school sites; 1 day remote Flexibility to support school schedules and occasional extended hours as needed Must maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record Why JoinOpportunity to make a direct, measurable impact on student learning outcomes Embedded role with strong partnership at the school and district level Collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on educator success Professional growth and development opportunities Equal Opportunity EmployerMOGEL and our clients are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants.
