Job Title: Senior Associate, Fund AccountingLocation: Chicago, IL (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)Type: Full-Time, Permanent/Direct HirePay Range: $125,000 - $150,000 total compBenefits: 25 days PTO, Modern Health, Wellthy, Identity Theft, Pet Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Group Legal Plan , 401(k) match 6% , Commuter benefits, Paid Parental Leave, Medical and Prescription, Dental, Vision, Critical Illness, Accident, Hospital Indemnity, HSA/FSA, Basic Life/AD&D, Voluntary Life/AD&D, Short Term/Long term Disability Company: Asset Management Firm ($80B in AUM)Key Responsibilities:Record interest and other cash and non-cash activityPerform monthly, quarterly and annual closing proceduresTrack loans across the portfolio Manage and work closely with third party admin providers Internal and external reporting packages Assist with all fund related activities including: capital calls, distributions, requests for information, and maintaining accounting, tax and subsidiary records Provide reconciliations monthly, quarterly, and annually to entries for internal reporting and for the year-end auditKey Qualifications:Bachelor’s in Accounting/FinanceCPA or CPA in process required4+ years of relevant experience working for or auditing Private Equity Funds, Real Estate or Debt Funds
