Associate Project Manager

About the Role The Associate Project Manager (APM) plays an integral role within our Project Management team, as they are responsible for supporting the project execution under the Project Manager’s direction. A Springpoint Project Manager oversees multiple development and construction projects within a designated region and ensures delivery of high-quality service to our clients from pre-construction through close-out. This role is remote, but may require some client site visits. What you’ll do: Develop and manage project budgets and cost forecasts with Project Manager. Effectively analyze, negotiate, and execute contracts. Review and interpret architectural drawings and engineering schematics. Maintain professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers and contractors. Assist with constant communication with entire project OAC (Owner, Architect, Contractor) team and all consultants. Research and suggest products when appropriate for OAC team. Visit site at least weekly to review project status, resolve issues, and coordinate with the General Contractor and team. Coordinate and attend design and construction meetings, compose meeting minutes. Review and process billing from consultants and contractors. Review and process change order requests. Develop and maintain project schedule(s). Review construction progress and quality on-site. Maintain electronic job folder per Company protocol. What we’re looking for: 2 years of experience in a similar role. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project, or other PM Software Working knowledge of cost control, budgeting, contracts, bill and forecasting Must have valid driver’s license Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent is a plus Experience with PMWeb, Bluebeam, Procore, Plangrid and other similar software is a plus. Benefits: Vacation: You will begin to accrue two weeks (80 hours) of annual vacation on your start date. Vacation time will accrue during the Introductory Period but may not be used until the successful completion of said Introductory Period. Holidays: Springpoint observes the following 10 holidays each year: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day. Company pays 100% of employee cost for Anthem Blue Cross Silver PPO C; Employee pays the difference for more expensive plan and for any spouse/dependents (pre-tax). You will become eligible for these benefits on the 1st of the month following 30 days of full-time employment. Life and Disability Insurance: Springpoint Group provides life insurance and long-term disability insurance at no cost to the employee. In addition, you have the option of obtaining additional life insurance coverage at a favorable cost to you. Retirement Program: You will be eligible to participate in the 401(k) Program beginning the first of the month following completion of your Introductory Period. Springpoint Group contributes three percent (3%) of your gross earnings regardless of your participation level. Auto/Business Travel: Business mileage will be reimbursed at the standard rate determined by the IRS. Additionally, you will be reimbursed for any toll charges incurred when traveling for business purposes. Bonus Potential: You will be eligible to fully participate in the Company’s bonus program after the successful completion of the 90-day introductory period. Bonuses are earned and distributed on a semi-annual basis. Other Terms: Springpoint will provide you with a computer. The Company will also offer you a cell phone or reimburse up to $100 per month towards your personal cell phone bill. We also reimburse $50 per month for home internet to ensure adequate bandwidth when working from home.
