Material Handler/Packer

Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately handling materials within our warehouse or distribution center. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and operating various types of equipment. Duties: - Pick and pack orders according to established guidelines - Load and unload materials from trucks or containers - Operate heavy equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, and RF scanners - Move materials to designated areas using appropriate equipment - Ensure accurate inventory counts and maintain inventory records - Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials - Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment - Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies Requirements: - Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role preferred - Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently - Proficient in using RF scanners for inventory management - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - High school diploma or equivalent Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
