Job Title: RDK Developer Location: 3 days onsite in Denver (preferred), St. Louis, or Charlotte (consideration for other locations with relocation for Day 1 start) Contract Duration: 6 months Work Authorization: USC/GC only Interview Process: Teams interview with Vendor; Likely two rounds with client Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced RDK Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of RDK (Reference Design Kit) implementation on DOCSIS-based set-top boxes. You will be responsible for developing, customizing, and integrating RDK components to ensure high performance and functionality of next-generation set-top boxes.Key Responsibilities:Develop, integrate, and customize RDK stack components for DOCSIS set-top boxes.Implement middleware, drivers, and software solutions to optimize performance and enable seamless communication between hardware and software.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design software architecture.Ensure compatibility across various DOCSIS configurations and versions.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software and system issues on DOCSIS set-top boxes.Conduct testing and validation of RDK implementations to ensure feature integration, system performance, and stability.Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in RDK and DOCSIS development.Required Qualifications:3+ years of hands-on experience in RDK-B or RDK-V implementation and integration using C, C++, and/or Python in Linux-based environments.Strong understanding of DOCSIS technology and experience working with DOCSIS-enabled set-top boxes.In-depth knowledge of network protocols, broadband technologies, and digital video distribution systems.Solid understanding of hardware-software integration and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
