Responsibilities
Assist lead teachers with lesson planning and implementing educational activities aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and preschool teaching strategies such as Montessori methods.
Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment, encouraging good behavior, and helping manage student transitions smoothly.
Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students, including those with disabilities or special needs, ensuring personalized support for diverse learning styles.
Help facilitate classroom routines, including child care tasks like feeding, diapering/toddler care, and supervising playtime to promote safety and well-being.
Collaborate with teachers on curriculum development efforts to enhance instructional effectiveness and student engagement.
Use strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, parents, and specialists to support educational goals.
Maintain organized classroom environments by preparing materials, managing supplies, and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met.
Experience
Prior experience working with children in educational support roles, childcare settings, or preschool environments is highly desirable.
Demonstrated classroom management assistance or classroom experience in early childhood education or private school settings is preferred.
Familiarity with teaching young children in literacy education, math instruction, or preschool curricula such as Montessori is advantageous.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs enhances your ability to provide inclusive support.
Strong communication skills combined with technical proficiency in educational tools or curriculum development software are beneficial.
Knowledge of childhood development principles and experience in toddler care or early childhood education programs will strengthen your application.
Previous collaboration with teachers on lesson planning and curriculum implementation demonstrates your commitment to educational excellence.
