Team members contribute to meaningful work that strengthens communities and supports long-term positive outcomes for those served.Role Description The IDD Program Director is a full-time, on-site role based in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area, responsible for overseeing programs serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This role manages daily operations, including supervising staff, ensuring quality of care, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory and funding requirements. The IDD Program Director develops and implements program policies and procedures, monitors service delivery, and uses data to improve outcomes and efficiency. This position collaborates with internal teams, families, community partners, and external agencies to coordinate services and advocate for the needs and rights of individuals served. The role also includes budgeting, reporting, staff training, and continuous improvement activities to ensure person-centered, evidence-based supports.QualificationsLeadership and management abilities, including staff supervision, team-building, and performance coaching.Program administration skills in planning, implementing, and evaluating IDD services and initiatives, with a focus on multi-location residential programs.Knowledge of intellectual and developmental disabilities, person-centered practices, and relevant regulations.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with individuals served, families, staff, and external partners.Organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple priorities, documentation, and compliance requirements.Experience in human services, social work, rehabilitation, or a related field; IDD program experience overseeing residential programs.Bachelor’s degree in social services, psychology, public administration, or a related discipline; advanced degree is a plus.Ability to work on-site in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area and travel locally as needed.Proficiency with standard office software and data systems used for reporting and program management (i.e., Advisor).Commitment to equity, inclusion, and non-discriminatory practices in service delivery and workplace culture.
