DCI Job Requirement for:
Material Fielder/Trainer
Location: Aberdeen, MD
Job Description:
Serve as a Fielder to support PdM Terrestrial Spectrum Warfare (TSW)
Plan, coordinate, and execute fielding activities and equipment management
Provide fielding and product support coordination by managing the following:
Manpower and personnel
Supply support
Support and test equipment, training and training materials
Property transfer
Briefings and equipment handling, storage, transportation
Facilities for one or more acquisition programs
Perform the full range of planning, equipment delivery and property transfer
Provide oversight of equipment and classroom set up, training, and field exercises
Coordinate material fielding agreements with command
Assure logistic support resources meet the users need
Establish and maintain fielding schedules for planning, testing, deploying systems
Implement PEO/DA/DOD policy and procedures of acquisition
Resolve logistical problems affecting activities and units over large geographical areas
Develop and initiate the implementation of corrective actions and enhancements
Prepare, coordinate, evaluate and review fielding management and planning docs
Coordinate with COMSEC manager, SSO, and gaining unit
Provide travel costs and documents to contractor and Government budget teams
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
2+ years of fielding and training experience
Experience planning and scheduling for the delivery of military systems or equipment
Experience with documents required to track, stock ship, and account for end items
Experience planning, coordinating, and executing material fielding activities
Experience developing and maintaining fielding schedules and documentation
Military logistics experience as it pertains to shipping, receiving, and tracking equipment
Knowledge and experience with AR 770-2, Material Fielding
REQUIRED: Active DOD Secret Clearance
