This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, making it essential to create a positive dining atmosphere. *Responsibilities* * Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor. * Manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest comfort. * Assist guests with inquiries about the menu and restaurant services. * Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate guest needs. * Handle reservations and walk-in guests efficiently, maintaining an organized flow. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally. * Utilize POS systems for managing waitlists and reservations as needed. * Uphold restaurant standards of hospitality, ensuring each guest feels valued. *Requirements* * Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred but not required. * Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and customer relations. * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * A friendly, approachable demeanor with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction. * Basic knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus, including familiarity with POS systems. * Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
