Our school is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher for elementary and middle groups with a small caseload to join our supportive team. You'll play a vital role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Create engaging lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to support student progress.
Administer and interpret standardized tests to assess student performance.
Provide specialized instruction in areas such as deaf education, behavioral health, physical education, and more as needed.
Skills
Strong background in early childhood education.
Proficient in classroom management strategies.
Experience with standardized testing and assessment tools.
Knowledge of child welfare practices and regulations.
Familiarity with Montessori or other alternative teaching methods is a plus.
Ability to work with individuals on the autism spectrum and those with developmental disabilities
