_*Position Overview*_
We are seeking a Production Operator to join a manufacturing team on 1st shift. This is a great opportunity for someone with entry-level manufacturing experience who has previously worked as an operator, technician, or in a hands-on production environment.
You will safely operate manufacturing equipment, perform trimming and finishing work, inspect products, and ensure production meets quality and specification requirements.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Safely operate production and mechanical equipment, including presses, lathes, ovens, and other machinery
* Remove flash and trim products by hand, die, or machine
* Use measuring tools such as calipers, scales, and rulers to verify product specifications
* Use hand tools and cutting tools safely and appropriately
* Inspect products for quality, specifications, identification, and traceability
* Accurately enter production information into the MRP system
* Follow standard work procedures, safety requirements, and required PPE guidelines
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
* Support preventative maintenance activities and communicate equipment issues
* Move materials to and from designated areas as needed
* Work effectively with production, quality, maintenance, and management teams
* Support internal and external quality and safety audits
* Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality and safety standards
*Qualifications*
* *Bilingual in English/Spanish (REQUIRED)*
* *High school diploma/GED or equivalent relevant experience*
* *0–3 years of manufacturing, production, machine operation, or technician experience*
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
* Basic computer and math skills
* Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with limited supervision
* Good communication and teamwork skills
*Physical Requirements & Work Environment*
* Manufacturing environment involving machinery and industrial chemicals
* Required PPE and steel-toed footwear must be worn
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, reach, push, pull, and climb throughout the workday
* Must have good hand dexterity for detailed production and trimming work
* Ability to consistently lift and push up to50 lbs.
* No travel required
Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on production needs.
