Senior Engineer

We are hiring for a senior engineer to take over day-to-day development for our IRL dating platform, built with the following stack:- Backend API: NestJS, MikroORM- Backend db: Postgres- Frontend admin portal: React- Mobile app (iOS/Android): Flutter- Hosting: AWS EC2/RDS, GitHub Actions CI/CD- Issue tracking: LinearThe platform is currently in use with ~10,000 users.  It is stable, well-architected monorepo, and built with standard tooling.Tasks will include:- Adding new features as prioritized by executive team- Implementing new API endpoints- Implementing new pages and components in the React frontend- Deploying backend and frontend releases to AWS- Building out mobile app features for iOS and Android- Deploying iOS and Android builds to the app stores- Running ad-hoc db queries for executive team- Providing second-tier technical support to usersWe anticipate 40 hours per week for 6 months, at least, with potential for more as we secure additional funding. The successful candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development, including mobile apps (although specific Flutter experience is not a must-have).  Excellent English ability (speaking and writing) is also required.If you are not a bot, please let me know one question that you would ask about this project that's not already described above.
