Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $96,000 to $106,500 per year. Job Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity. Lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring all documentation and financial data are accurate and readily available. Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions, including cost-benefit analysis and financial modeling. Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions. Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing detailed variance analysis. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred. 6+ years of accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations, with specific experience in public accounting practices. Experience in a non-profit environment including government grants and contracts is a plus. Proficiency of accounting software ( Oracle fusion) and MS Office Suite advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a high attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial information clearly.
