Apprentice Electrician

Lone Star Bakery, Inc. is looking for an Apprentice Electrician to days ensure all aspects of electrical processes are properly executed as instructed by the Master Electrician.Day Shift: 7am to 3:30pmJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesInstalls all types of conduit.Sizes and pulls wire.Uses multi-meter for testing and troubleshooting electrical problems.Reads and understands electrical wiring diagrams.Installs low and high voltage distribution panels as well as control panels.PM electrical components and panels.Uses MP2 for work orders, PM, and parts location, usage and ordering.Notifies supervisor of any issues or equipment malfunctions.Job Requirements, Education, & CertificationsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsMust have general knowledge of equipment operations and MP2Must be able to size, bend and install EMT, IMC and ridged conduit per NECAbility to use multi-meter to test AC/DC voltage, amperage and continuityMust have strong verbal communication skills.Must have ability to read and write English.Must be able to follow directions.Knowledge of GMPs and Lock-out / Tag-out proceduresAdheres to Machine Guarding process.Ability to be on feet all day and perform walking, stooping, and bending functions as required.Ability to work at steady and continuous pace and to keep up with manufacturing production.Environmental ConditionsExtreme temperature variationsWet surfacesNoiseMoving mechanical partsIndustrial equipment
