Production Control Coordinator

Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionJob SummaryThis position is responsible for performing the physical and administrative tasks to receive, store, distribute and ship materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Performs manual, clerical, and data entry/analysis tasks related to the receiving, movement, storage, inventory tracking, disbursement, packaging and shipping of sensitive electronics, materials, equipment and supplies.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOversee the receipt and management of parts and RMAs, ensuring meticulous adherence to paperwork and procedural guidelinesCoordinate and execute shipping for all production and RMA units, ensuring timely and accurate deliveriesInitiate and track all international shipments in collaboration with trade compliance associates, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulationsReceive, implement, and manage Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) stock, maintaining optimal inventory levels, new material, and phasing of old material based on production staff needsTrack and document outside contract orders received ensuring compliance with all relevant proceduresMaintain and organize the Shipping & Receiving area and Finished Goods rooms, ensuring a highly efficient and orderly environmentAssist the stockroom with inventory transactions as requested, ensuring accuracy and timelinessOrganize and manage inventory storage for office supplies and facility suppliesOversee the organization and management of records retention and storage areasAssist with monthly operational tasks, including Shred-it document disposal, hazardous material disposal, gas tank transport, and oversight of waste management processesSupport facilities and site leadership with various projects as neededDigitize all production folders for archive purposes, starting with recently shipped items and retroactively scanning older documentsContinue implementing 5S+1 operational improvements within the Shipping & Receiving area and throughout the facility as neededMaintain organized records using ERP systems and other applicable computer applications. REQUIRED CAPABILITIESU.S. Citizenship required due to government contract requirements.Self-starter, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Advanced knowledge of international shipping requirements and proceduresExperience with MRP systems, ERP systems, Inventory Management systemsProficiency with MS Office tools: Excel and WordSkilled in data analysis and reportingWorking knowledge of material handling proceduresDetail-oriented and strong organizational skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to lift up to 45 pounds.Able to work weekends and evenings as required to meet company objectives. EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCEAssociate's degree or equivalent work experience4+ years of comparable experience in a manufacturing environment4+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or customer service4+ years of experience handling and processing international shipments2+ years' experience with Inventory Management Systems (IMS), ERP systems, and MRP systemsPossess and maintain a valid Driver's License
