There will be an emphasis on hands on engineering and component testing. Design, document and maintain Power Distribution architecture.Strategize electrical / power design architecture for Premium CT HardwareDrive design rigor adhering to our best practicesCapture electrical design schematic using an ECAD systemReview and approve layout done on the ECAD systemDrives and is accountable for operational excellence of assigned designs, projects and rigor, with duties including design, project reviews, feasibility analysis, cost benefit analysis, prioritization, resourcing, initiation, execution and closureDrive the development of prototypes, performance testing and design documentationDevelop innovative designs to meet all requirements for performance, reliability, cost and manufacturabilityIdentify, select, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade test equipment.Evaluate engineering test plan requests, and determine the best method/approach to achieve resultsCreate, review, and execute development and reliability planning, testing, and analysis activities, and when needed coordinate resources and equipment needed to run engineering testsProactively resolve and escalate issues across functions regarding issues found during engineering development and tests.Clearly communicates status, issues, risks, and plans to management...especially "bad" news.Required QualificationsBS in Electrical Engineering and 7 years of industry electrical engineering experience.Circuit design and simulation tool experience including schematic designCircuit Board Layout experienceSchematic capture understanding / experienceDesired CharacteristicsMaster's degree in Electrical EngineeringSwitching power technologies design experience
