Assistant Interior Designer

We are looking for a talented and motivated Interior Design Assistant with expertise in CAD, SketchUp, and digital marketing to join our team.Job Description:As a Part-Time Interior Design Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our design projects and digital marketing efforts. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed CAD and SketchUp drawings, assisting with design presentations, and assisting with social media and marketing campaigns to enhance our brand visibility.Key Responsibilities:Design Support:Create detailed CAD drawings and 3D models using SketchUp to support design concepts.Assist in the preparation of design presentations and client proposals.On assigned projects produce and assist as needed; Conceptual sketches, materials, floor plans, elevationsAssist with selection and design of furniture, window treatments, kitchens and bath, fixtures, wall finishes, etc.Assist designer in creating client budgets and budget options Assist designer with quoting and implementation of conceptsCAD, drafting, 3D renderingsConstruction documentation including RCP, flooring plans, demolition plansDigital Marketing & Social Media:Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to promote our services and attract new clients.Monitor and analyze social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.Assist in the creation of marketing materials such as newsletters, blog posts, and promotional content.Coordinate with marketing and website development teamClient Interaction:Assist in client meetings, taking notes and helping to translate client needs into actionable design plans.Communicate with vendors and suppliers to gather information on products and materials.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior ArchitectureMinimum of 5 years of experience in interior design, with a strong focus on residential construction projects.Proficiency in AutoCad and SketchUp, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.Experience in digital marketing, graphic design preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Mac Suite of Keynote, Numbers, Pages.Experience in Asana.To Apply:Please submit a cover letter with your resume and a portfolio of your design work to laura@lauraabramsdesign.com.
