Hospitality Revenue Analyst

Responsibilities
Assist the General Manager and hotel leadership in identifying and maximizing revenue opportunities for assigned hotels.
Analyze and interpret historical data and market trends to develop revenue strategies.
Collaborate with hotel management teams to set and achieve revenue goals, and monitor progress.
Conduct regular audits and reviews of hotel revenue performance to identify areas for improvement.
Utilize revenue management systems and tools to forecast demand, optimize pricing, and manage inventory.
Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to ensure competitiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
Communicate revenue strategies and performance updates to hotel management and stakeholders.
Train and educate hotel staff on revenue management practices and procedures.
Generate reports and presentations to effectively communicate revenue data and recommendations to senior management.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute promotions and packages to drive revenue.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in revenue management and recommend implementations.
Ensure compliance with company revenue management policies and procedures.
Identify and escalate potential revenue opportunities and risks to senior management.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel for formulating and reporting.
Capable of creating documents, charts, and spreadsheets to convey information clearly.
Ability to assimilate complex data from various sources and adjust strategies as needed.
Strong analytical skills to understand financial data and basic arithmetic functions.
Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational management skills and ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
Friendly, objective, and service-oriented approach to all encounters with owners, guests, and associates.
Compliance with Dynamic Group standards and regulations to ensure professional and efficient operations.
Working knowledge of revenue management systems and tools, such as TravelClick and/or Kalibri, preferred.
Must have Marriott experience. Need to know One Yield, HPP, MarRFP, and other revenue tools.
Job Responsibilities
Complete applicable training in hospitality systems and processes.
Prepare and analyze daily demand reports and reports for weekly revenue strategy meetings.
Adjust rate and inventory controls as needed and communicate changes to strategy teams.
Assist in the implementation of annual strategic pricing, including rate loading.
Schedule and analyze market pricing reports to identify pricing opportunities and competitive set compression.
Develop understanding of various reports for trends, booking windows, sources of business, and rate comparisons.
Communicate sales strategies for day, week, month, and rolling 12 months; share strategic changes with appropriate audiences.
Analyze previous night's performance and make necessary adjustments for future strategies.
Perform duplicate reservations checks and maintain PMS & inventory balance.
Input STR data daily/weekly and analyze STR performance.
Assist in preparing materials for presentations and complete system audits quarterly/annually.
Build, edit, approve, and maintain rate codes in PMS.
Track corporate accounts monthly and analyze comp set accounts for new targets.
Perform weekly group test pricing and analyze transient, group, and Catering pace reports.
Complete special projects assigned by the Director of Revenue Strategy.
