JOB DESCRIPTION: JAGreen Construction Management (“JAG”) is seeking a Superintendent to be part of its growing construction management company based in Aurora, CO, which is focused on the construction of industrial warehouse and distribution facilities. The candidate will provide on-site coordination for all phases of commercial construction projects, including new concrete tilt-up construction and tenant improvement build-outs The position includes coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. The Superintendent shall be responsible for project scheduling, inspections, quality control, and jobsite safety.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES· Opening the jobsite at beginning of the day and securing the jobsite at the end of the day.· Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.· Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.· Communicate with project team regarding RFIs, PCOs, scheduling updates, and material purchases.· Ensure that subcontractors are fully executing and complying with contracted scope of work.· Identify areas of work that are outside of any subcontracted scope.· Ensure subcontractors have corrected all deficiencies identified by project team.· Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety quality standards.· Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.· Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.· Maintain daily log of activities on the jobsite.· Walk the project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.· Preside over regular OAC meetings designed to coordinate the work.· Gather project material submittals and maintain records of approvals at the jobsite.· Ensure that the jobsite is always kept in a clean and organized manner.· Perform job progress and completion punch list.COMPENSATION· JAG offers competitive compensation commensurate with an applicant’s level of experience.· Full healthcare benefit package provided.· Gas card and cell phone provided.QUALIFICATIONS· Bachelor’s degree or greater in Project Manager or Construction Administration, or Superintendent Certification is preferred.· Minimum five (5) years of relevant and verifiable professional work experience.· Direct experience working on concrete tilt-up construction projects· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project & Outlook).· OSHA-10 or OSHA-20 Certified.· Ability to monitor jobsite safety and organize “Toolbox Talks”.· Capability to read and interpret documents such as plans/blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.· Ability to give direction to and resolve problems among numerous subcontractors and vendors.· Aptitude to identify deficient work and provide resolution.· Sound verbal and written communication skills in-person, over the telephone, and through email.· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to function in a team environment.· Ability to multi-task and thrive in a growing, fast-paced environment, while proactively anticipating future needs.· Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills, including knowledge of commercial real estate.· Established leadership capabilities, self-motivated and willing to solve problems and take on new challenges.· Ability to display excellent judgment and maintain confidentiality.· Focused on solving conflict, not blaming, listens to others, keeps emotions under control, and remains open to others' ideas.· Excellent organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to adapt to change.· Strong work ethic and attention to detail.DESIRED SKILL AND EXPERIENCE· Customer Service – Manages difficult or emotional situations;
