This role blends media relations with influencer-first event production, while also supporting North America PR agency management to ensure alignment across key markets. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-driven, and knowledgeable about the current PR landscape.RESPONSIBILITIESPublic RelationsSupport PR strategy execution aligned to launches and campaignsOwn proactive pitching focusing on compelling storytelling that highlights the brand, founder, product, and missionField incoming media and product requestsDraft press materials including press releases, pitches, media alerts, and briefing documentsProactively submit for media awards and opportunities spotlighting the brand, founder and products.Build and maintain strong relationships with editors, writers, and freelance contributors at top-tier publicationsOversee product seeding and gifting initiatives for media and influencersMonitor and track press coverage; compile monthly performance reports and insightsMaintain updated media lists, awards tracking and other administrative dutiesPR Agency Management (Mexico & Canada)Act as day-to-day contact for PR agencies in Canada and MexicoSupport ongoing initiatives with NA PR agencies, ensuring alignment with global brand strategyManage mailer timelines and shipping logistics for international distributionTrack coverage and influencer engagement generated from mailers; incorporate results into reportingDevelop and share seasonal toolkits, messaging documents, and launch timelinesConsolidate international coverage and performance metrics into global reportingInfluencer EventsCollaborate with PR & Influencer team to concept and execute influencer-and press-facing events including launch dinners, brand trips, and brand previewsManage outreach, RSVPs, briefing materials, and event communicationsCoordinate vendors, venues, catering, production, travel, accommodations, and on-site logisticsDevelop run-of-show documents and ensure seamless executionTrack event performance including earned media value, impressions, and qualitative impactLead post-event recaps with key learnings and recommendationsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Social, Creative, Sales, and International teams to ensure unified messagingAssist in budget tracking, invoice processing/POs, and timeline managementREQUIREMENTS5+ years of experience in PR and events (beauty, fashion, lifestyle preferred)A proven track record of securing placements in major media outletsStrong media relationships and understanding of the current PR landscapeExceptional organizational and project management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentExperience with PR agency, event production, and vendor managementProficiency in Microsoft Office and media monitoring platformsStrong passion for all things beauty, event, influencer, and social mediaStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsExperience with affiliate programs is a plusMust live in Los Angeles area and be in office Monday, Wednesday, ThursdayPHYSICAL DEMANDSProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Frequent lifting and moving of boxes and product weighing up to 30 pounds for shipments, event set up, etc.
