Inside Sales Account Representative (Electronic Components)

About the RoleWe’re looking for a highly skilled Inside Sales Account Representative to join our fast‑growing aerospace and defense electronics team. This is an opportunity for someone with strong technical aptitude and microelectronics experience to take on a high‑impact role where your insights, ideas, and technical expertise are valued.In this role, you will manage and grow relationships with an established customer base, support complex technical sales cycles, and collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams. You will be a trusted partner to our customers, a key liaison to OEMs, and an essential contributor to our sales strategy.What You’ll Do • Build and maintain strong customer relationships across engineering, procurement, and technical buying teams. • Develop account strategies to expand business, increase customer satisfaction, and identify new opportunities. • Conduct regular account reviews to understand customer needs, upcoming projects, and long‑term requirements. • Present product solutions, microelectronics capabilities, and engineering services to customers. • Generate accurate, competitive quotes and manage end‑to‑end sales order execution. • Coordinate supplier purchase orders, manage change orders, and expedite materials as needed to ensure on‑time delivery. • Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing to ensure all technical, contractual, and delivery requirements are met. • Track and exceed sales targets, performance metrics, and forecast commitments. • Negotiate pricing, terms, and order details with customers. • Support and resolve customer issues, corrective actions, and quality inquiries. • Monitor customer performance ratings and aged/liability inventories; drive improvements and timely resolutions. • Participate in customer business reviews and provide reporting, forecasting, and program insights. • Communicate updates related to shipment holds, end‑of‑life notices, obsolescence, and allocation changes. • Maintain accurate customer data, quotes, and sales activity within the ERP system. • Support continuous improvement efforts within our Quality Management System (QMS).What You Bring • 3–5 years of inside sales, account management, or technical customer service experience — aerospace/defense or electronics preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or technical discipline (or equivalent technical experience) preferred.
