Jr. Full-stack/Software Engineer

CSI Companies is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to support the development and maintenance of applications within a large scale enterprise platform. This role requires strong hands on experience with Vue JS and complementary backend technologies.This position is hybrid and requires a commitment to relocate to one of the approved hub locations within the next six to eight months.You will work closely with senior and staff engineers to implement well defined features, enhance existing APIs, and support production systems. This role emphasizes hands on contribution and collaboration within established architectures and best practices.Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday during standard business hoursLocation: Hybrid with required relocation within 6 to 8 months to one of the following locations• Dallas TX• Chicago IL• Washington DC• Louisville KYPay: $30-32/hr based on relevant experience education and credentialsPosition Type: ConsultantWork AuthorizationCandidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.What you will do• Develop and maintain full stack applications using approved frontend and backend frameworks• Build and enhance user interfaces using Vue JS• Develop and maintain backend services using Node JS Java or NET depending on team alignment• Implement and enhance REST APIs based on clear technical specifications• Write clean testable and maintainable code following team standards• Consume internal and third party APIs services and event streams• Assist with debugging bug fixes and performance improvements in production• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior engineers• Support application deployments through existing CI CD pipelines• Follow documented security compliance and operational proceduresWhat we are looking for• One to two years of professional software engineering experience including internships• Hands on experience as a full stack developer• Vue JS experience is required• Experience with at least one of the following acceptable technology combinations• Node JS and Vue JS• Node JS Vue JS and React• NET and Vue JS• NET or Java with Vue JS and or React• Understanding of HTTP REST APIs and full stack development concepts• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and commit to relocation within six to eight monthsNice to have• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP• Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments• Familiarity with automated testing and debugging toolsAbout UsThe CSI Companies is a leading staffing and recruiting firm providing organizations with highly skilled professionals since 1994.
