IT Technician L1

What does an IT Technician 1 do? Troubleshoot computer and basic network problems Provide L1 help desk support Setup new workstations/laptops/mobile devices Provide basic Active Directory user administration Provide excellent written documentation and properly communicate escalations Liaison with 3rd party vendors in order to support the customer Adapt quickly to changing responsibilities and take ownership of other projects as assigned Above all, work with team members to ensure a positive internal and external customer experience Are you a fit for this role? We are seeking someone with a proven track record in the following: Experience in a technical support role History in working with Windows 7 and up Understanding of basic network concepts and computer hardware Experience with backup solutions and concepts Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining organization even when things are hectic Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills Highly desired: Experience in an IT Services company (aka Managed Service Provider)
