Cloud Engineer
Cloud Engineer – Senior positionHOW A CLOUD ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACTIn this role, you'll join our team, providing high-quality, cost-effective cloud solutions to our clients. Be part of a dynamic environment where your expertise in cloud operations will drive significant enhancements in the efficiency and effectiveness of our customers’ operations. As a Cloud Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for distributed and managed services automating the installation, configuration and maintenance of platform services.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Migrate existing Cloud
- Formation code to Terraform
- Develop reusable Terraform modules and maintain version-controlled infrastructure
- Work with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams to implement CI/CD and deployment strategies
What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOpsStrong proficiency with Terraform (writing modules, managing state, workspaces, etc.)Hands-on experience with AWS cloud provider Experience with DevOps tools and utilities to include Github, Ansible & CDKAbility to work effectively in a Linux-based development environment Familiarity with containers and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Strong knowledge of networking, security, and IAM in the cloud Proficient in at least one scripting language
Nice to haves:
- Terraform SMEHands-on experience with multiple cloud providers such as [AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP]Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Hands on experience with python
- Knowledge of containerizationCLEARANCE:Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph level clearance.
